The snake method is a genius technique for long-duration low-temperature cooking. With quality KOM charcoal, you can cook all night without adding charcoal.

What is the Snake Method

This is a technique where you arrange unlit charcoal in a snake shape around the perimeter of the grill. You light only one end and the charcoal gradually ignites one after another.

How to Set Up the Snake

Arrange KOM charcoal in two rows around the edge of the grill, leaving the center empty. Light 5-6 pieces of charcoal and place them at the beginning of the snake. Add a few pieces of wood for aroma.

KOM charcoal is ideal for this method because it burns slowly and evenly. One snake of KOM charcoal can burn for 10-12 hours, providing stable temperature of 110-130°C.

What the Method is Suitable For

The snake method is perfect for slow smoking large pieces of meat - pork shoulder, brisket, ribs. Long cooking at low temperature makes the meat incredibly tender and aromatic.

With KOM charcoal from pure hardwood, you get not only stable temperature but also rich natural aroma without chemicals and additives.
