Grilled peppers are a classic of Bulgarian cuisine. With KOM charcoal, you achieve an authentic wood-fired aroma that makes the peppers unforgettable.
Preparing the Peppers
Choose fleshy red peppers. Wash them well and dry. No need to cut them - they are grilled whole.
Grilling
Light KOM charcoal and wait for it to become embers. Arrange the peppers directly on the grill. Turn them every 3-4 minutes until the skin blackens and cracks on all sides.
Storage in Bags
After grilling, place the peppers in plastic bags while still hot. Let them cool - the steam will help the skin separate easily. Then peel them, remove the seeds, and arrange them in freezer bags.
Winter - Like Freshly Grilled
Thanks to KOM charcoal, the aroma remains preserved even after months in the freezer. When you take out the peppers, you'll smell the same wood-fired aroma as if you just grilled them.
KOM Charcoal - for authentic taste all year round!
