Weber Kettle is the icon of BBQ. Since 1952, this design hasn't changed because it's perfect. With KOM charcoal, it becomes even better.
Why Weber Kettle is So Popular
The spherical shape creates perfect heat circulation. Smoke and heat move evenly around the meat, ensuring ideal cooking.
The lid transforms a simple grill into a convection oven. You can roast, smoke, and grill - all in one place.
Setup with KOM Charcoal
For direct cooking (steaks, kebabs): - Fill the basket with KOM charcoal - Light with chimney or electric starter - Wait 15-20 minutes until coals turn white - Spread them evenly
For indirect cooking (chicken, ribs): - Split KOM charcoal into two piles on each side - Place water pan in the middle - Meat goes over the pan, not over coals
Temperature Control
Bottom vents control oxygen = temperature: - Wide open = 230-260°C (searing) - Half open = 180-200°C (roasting) - Slightly open = 110-130°C (smoking)
Top vent should always be open for smoke exit.
Why KOM Charcoal is Perfect for Weber
KOM charcoal from pure hardwood burns longer and more evenly than briquettes. It contains no chemicals, meaning clean smoke and authentic flavor.
Weber Kettle + KOM = the perfect combination for real BBQ.
